Oils

One of the things that I was really happy to get back to this last year was oil painting. I am lucky to be surrounded by the wonderful artists at the safehouse studios who inspire me to do better as an artist, and practice the traditional craft.. Every sunday we go out and do plein air painting which is now one of my favorite things to do.

Below are some of my favorite plein airs , and other random oil paintings I worked on last year.

    It's a good thing you got back into oils, because you are absolutely amazing at them! Such richness of colors and values, super yummy to look at.
